Comments: Ordered the Sunday night before Christmas. Received delivery via UPS standard on Christmas Eve. I was amazed at receiving the package in such short order that close to Christmas using standard shipping. Only minor knock was that the shipping confirmation email did not get sent to me until after the package had already arrived at my house (They offered me discounted shipping for a future purchase as compensation for the oversight/confusion/absence on the confirmation email. I appreciated the gesture). I would definitely order from them again.

Comments: Apart from its environmental mission,which is the reason that I sought out this merchant, Cafe Campesino offers excellent coffee. Im not simply supporting a political position by buying from Cafe Campesino. I get great coffee, I take advantage of their good prices and their promotions (such as free shipping on certain orders at certain times, 20% on specific coffees), and I have been very satisfied with their excellent customer service, a rarity for many companies these days. My older daughter, who loves chai, receives gifts from us via Cafe Campesino, and loves both the coffee and the organic chai.

Comments: for free trade coffee this merchant is fantastic. The coffee is great. The customer service is always spot on. My only complaint is that they are way out on the east coast and I am on the west coast. It takes a solid week for the cheapest shipping to get to me. But who am I to complain. If I buy the sale price coffee (which is just as good as the rest of the coffee) I get the shipping almost for free. If you are looking for good coffee think about this merchant. If you also want your coffee to be organic, shade grown and have the farmers get a fair wage for their goods. You HAVE to shop at this merchant. This is the best all around situation for your cup of joe and the people who bring it to you.

Comments: The price of the coffee is better than Barnies and Starbucks. The quality of the coffee is better than any mass market coffee I have tried and at about $2 a pound less than Barnies it is a good value. I see no reason to purchase a mass produced coffee and the cost of estate reserve coffee in a fancy shop is nearly twice the price for marginal to to improvement in quality. You kick yourself trying $20 a pound coffee just to find out the $10 a pound cafecampesion is better. The dark roast is never bitter and very full bodied, much like Barnies French Roast, but even less bitter and more full bodied. It is nearly ideal. The order process is painless and deliver very prompt. No need to go out to get good coffee any more, just have it delivered to the door.

Comments: Ive been looking for a company that sells organic, free-trade certified coffee in 1-pound packages (because I have a Toddy cold brewed coffee system that calls for 1 pound of coffee at a time). Most places sell it in 12-oz packages. So Im glad to have found Cafecampesino. They have a wide selection, ship very fast at a reasonable price, and have two types of coffee bags (one recyclable and one vacuum sealed for freshness). Their web site is easy to use and provides lots of information about the coffees.
